inWas asked to take photos at a local Triathlon…below are several pictures of the bike portion….I kept experimenting with the shutter speed and aperture….
The first two photos I got a blurred effect with a slower shutter speed of 1/30 of a second, ISO 400 and f/14….
Love the guy in this photo…he gave me a peace sign as he sped by..
These next photos have higher shutter speeds and ISO’s….so the action was frozen…
Last one…I promise…

This shot of the moon was taken with a Nikon D5200, a kit lens, and a tripod….settings were ISO 400, 300mm, f5.6 and 1/200sec.
To get rid of the haze…I bumped down the saturation and upped the black in post processing…also cropped it in to get the moon in full frame of the picture.
The best part of this photo…was getting to be outside in the dark on a still night!

On Instagram there is a young Parisian by the name vutheara. He is a young designer and photographer….and his photographs are of beautiful Parisian streets…usually early morning shots casting long shadows of perfectly placed cyclists or lovely pedestrians.
Inspired by his photographs I set out for the prettiest town near my home….Athens, Georgia. The University of Georgia makes its home there and North Campus has a charm of its own…
These two photos were taken in front of the Chapel…the sun was right over the building and made for interesting lighting…
These is the Academic Building….

In the fall, spiders seem to triple in size….this spider photograph was right off our front porch and was about 2 inches in length. The weather was misty, hence the gray background.
This second spider photograph was taken under a bridge that crosses over Broad River…
Really like the messiness of the spider’s web in this photo….
