Yesterday was Mother’s Day….we don’t typically do the traditional Mother’s Day thing….guessing we don’t because we were living in India when our kids were small and that Holiday didn’t come printed on calendars made in India….to my credit me and my daughter had a great day out and about together….and part of that included taking these guys picture. I thought they were interesting and the fuzz ball that was once a yellow flower was delicate and fabulous with all it’s detail.
We all have seen a lot of selfies….so going beyond the quick snap of ones self in the car showing off a new hair cut is in order. This selfie was snapped with my phone and turned into B&W photo….. I like to think of this as a story-selfie….this pic goes beyond me trying to show off my good looks, but I’m inviting you to see a story in your head.
Now that is the kind of selfie I can get into…..
This summer has been full of creative moments…..many will make it to the canvas this fall…but this particular moment will be in support to a local animal shelter. Several creative minds have joined together and we at Tugaloo State Park in Georgia are sponsering a benefit in the form of a Doggie Pageant ….my kids are entering our recue dog as…..you got it…..Super Dog.
